Bronze Yamantaka Statue, Guardian of Wisdom, Vintage,

This finely cast bronze figure represents Yamantaka (Vajrabhairava), the wrathful emanation of Manjushri, Bodhisattva of Wisdom, revered in Vajrayana Buddhist tradition as the conqueror of death and ignorance. The figure is shown in dynamic posture with multiple arms, trampling subdued demons upon a lotus base, and crowned with a tiered arrangement of heads — all iconographic elements associated with advanced Tantric practice.

Executed in traditional Himalayan style, the sculpture displays strong modelling, expressive facial detailing and remnants of original gilded highlights, suggesting ritual or devotional use rather than purely decorative intent. Pieces of this type were typically produced in Tibet or Nepal for monastic or household shrines.

A powerful and visually striking example of Tantric Buddhist iconography, suitable for collectors of Himalayan religious art or as a focal devotional sculpture.
