A finely painted alpine landscape by Swiss artist Werner Geel depicting Mount Racine in the Jura Mountains, rendered with a crisp and luminous palette characteristic of early 20th-century Swiss landscape painting. The composition captures the transitional moment between winter and spring, where melting snow reveals grassy slopes dotted with delicate alpine flowers. Dark pine forests rise dramatically behind a rocky outcrop, while a winding mountain path leads the eye across the hillside beneath expansive clouds drifting through a bright alpine sky.
