Pablo Picasso: Beautiful print of famous the famous painting L’aubade, acknowledged to be the key work of the period of German occupation, Aubade is in fact a variation on the traditional serenade theme. The subject matter also represents the theme of the watchman and sleeper to which Picasso often referred.
The print is enclosed in a large gilt frame. The frame is available to buy separately without the print if so desired. This item comes from a private collection (acquired from a large Manor House in Derbyshire, UK).
