Atop the case is a beautifully sculpted broken pediment, framing the silvered registered plate beneath a glazed door that preserves its original details.

This exceptional antique stick barometer, crafted around the mid-20th century or earlier, is a true testament to the artistry and skill of English craftsmanship. A highlight of this piece is its manually operated, showcasing the intricate mechanics and fine engineering of the era. The exposed tube terminates in a mahogany cistern, which is elegantly concealed behind a turned hemispherical cover. The tube needs filling with xxxx and will be removed for protection and can be refilled at your end. The silvered register plate is protected by a glazed door that is shaped at the lower edge to flow into the trunk section.
