Royal Worcester Gilt Porcelain Figure Lady with Tambourine, Model 1441, after James Hadley, c.1900

A finely modelled Royal Worcester porcelain figure, model number 1441, designed by the noted sculptor James Hadley and dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. This elegant figure depicts a classical female subject in a dynamic, graceful pose, holding a tambourine aloft, reflecting the influence of neoclassical revival design prevalent during the Victorian and Edwardian periods.

Expertly produced by Royal Worcester, the figure is rendered in finely detailed porcelain, with naturalistic modelling evident in the expressive movement of the drapery and the delicately sculpted anatomy. The surface is enriched with a lustrous gilt finish, contrasted by soft ivory-toned flesh areas, creating depth and visual refinement.
