Vintage English Sterling Silver Christening Set – Egg Cup and Spoon, Henry Clifford Davis, Birmingham 1958

A charming mid-twentieth-century English sterling silver christening set comprising an egg cup and matching spoon, crafted by the Birmingham silversmith Henry Clifford Davis and hallmarked for Birmingham, 1958. The elegant egg cup is of classic pedestal form with a gently flared rim and retains its original gilt interior, adding a warm contrast to the polished silver exterior.

The accompanying silver spoon complements the set with its simple and refined design, reflecting the restrained elegance typical of post-war British silverware.
