Description
Antique Regency Walnut Tea Caddy with Mixing Bowl.
A beautiful early 19th-century small tea caddy with two lidded compartments. Wooden ring handles on either side and bun feet at each corner and paper-lined inside. Comes with a working lock and key. The lining is painted thin card so it can be used to hold small personal items. This would make a lovely gift. The caddy is a beautiful, warm walnut colour and has boxwood stringing to the edges.
Inside the caddy, the inside lid and space for the mixing bowl have a red lining and there are two removable tea boxes (one for black and one for green tea) with hinged lids with one lid loose off the hinge. The ornate glass mixing bowl fits snugly into its compartment.
In excellent condition with general signs of age and use over the years and no signs of marks scratches or discolouration.
Measurements: 12 inches wide with 7.8 inches height
