This finely cast bronze figure represents the Hindu goddess Parvati, revered as an embodiment of devotion, fertility, and divine feminine power (Shakti). The figure displays elegant modelling, balanced proportions, and finely articulated surface detailing in the treatment of jewellery, textile folds, and facial expression, reflecting the refined bronze-casting traditions of 19th-century India.

Parvati is traditionally understood as one of the principal manifestations of Shakti alongside Lakshmi and Saraswati, symbolising creative energy, compassion, and spiritual harmony.
