I have also seen another bust of comparable size in the White House Oval Office. The current President moved it from another room and placed it on his desk. In that example, the figure’s face is inclined slightly downward, whereas in mine the head is tilted gently upward, giving it a more graceful poise. Nevertheless, the two pieces are strikingly similar in both appearance and scale
Condition:
The bust is in excellent condition, with no major damage or restoration. The Spelter has developed a beautiful patina over the years, giving the piece a warm and inviting glow. The pedestal base is also in excellent condition, with no signs of wear or damage.
