Carriage clock, English, late 19th/20th Century
This is a lovely English brass 8-day carriage clock. The dial is set out with Roman numerals. The brass case has a lovely shape and has bevelled glass on all five sides and to the top is a lovely handle which sets it off beautifully. The previous service was recorded in 2010. The label is still of the service at the bottom. This Carriage Clock is heavier than normal carriage clocks, nearly 1.5 kg very unusual and the depth too is more than the normal ones I have come across.
