The circular enamel dial with Roman numerals is set within a brass bezel and houses a traditional mechanical movement. The clock strikes the hours and half-hours on a resonant gong, producing a pleasing tone typical of Edwardian domestic timepieces. The movement retains its original key and pendulum.
While the clock currently requires servicing to restore it to full working condition, it remains a charming and decorative example of early twentieth-century mantel clock design. Its architectural styling and solid oak construction make it both a practical timepiece and an attractive decorative object suitable for a traditional interior or antique collection.

Please note, whilst clocks currently work, during transport, all clocks are moved around a lot, and therefore, they may require setting up upon receiving them, as well as the possibility of requiring professional assistance or service, as they can get ‘stuck’. There is no guarantee that the clock will work smoothly after it has been transported. Leans Gallery does not guarantee any barometers, clocks, or music boxes to be in working order.
